Nonie Benson is an experienced independent HR Consultant with over 20 years of specialist expertise primarily serving the education (schools, multi-academy trusts), local government, and charity sectors across Luton, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire.

CIPD Level 7 qualified, she offers pragmatic, expert HR advice grounded in both operational and strategic HR, along with employment law.

Nonie has led a successful HR advisory service to multiple schools and MATs, local government and charities and has supported organisations in the leisure, charity, arts, museums and culture sectors. In previous roles Nonie has worked at the Equality and Human Rights Commission in the development of the Equality Act and supporting good practice in employment. 

Nonie is renowned for her calm, solutions-focused approach to complex employee relations issues, providing tailored consultancy in areas such as independent investigations (disciplinary, grievance), managing absence and performance, organisational change, training, and policy development.
